The University of Nairobi is committed to increasing access to quality education and diversifying its delivery mode using open, distance and e-learning modes. The modes of delivery include specifically prepared self instructional print and e-learning materials in form of CDs and online materials delivered through the e-learning platform of the university and audio-visual materials.
Through collaboration with the various schools in the University we have developed e-content materials for diversifying, enriching and increasing access to quality university education through e- learning modes.
The courses are offered by internal Schools, Faculties and Institutes in collaboration with the Centres for Open and Distance Learning and e-Learning.
Learners support services are provided for orientation, introduction, tuition and revision by electronic communication devices at the University of Nairobi e-learning platform and limited face to face by competent staff.
These strategies deliver courses to learners anywhere in Kenya and beyond, at their own pace and at any time anywhere.
