Central Catering Unit
The Center for Open & Distance Learning (CODL) facilitated a Joint Writers Workshop for writers from the College of Biological and Physical Sciences (CBPS) and the College of Architecture and Engineering from October 24, 2016 to October 27, 2016 at the Central Catering Unit (CCU).
The workshop focused on completing all pending instructional materials for Open, Distance and E-learning students and thus was regarded as mop-up workshop.

Representing the Principal, CBPS, Prof. Julius Mwabora thanked the participants for their commitment to developing instructional materials. He encouraged them to put more effort to ensure that all the pending modules are completed noting that the University is now focusing on expanding access to higher education through Open, Distance & e-learning modes.
On his part, the Director, CODL, noted that the workshop has been a success, pointing out that a total of six modules were fully developed during the workshop and several others saw a considerable progress being made.
Several other writers’ workshops have been scheduled before the end of the year.
